Speed Dial

Sometimes you may just need to call someone quickly without having to look up his/her phone number. You can by simply define a shortcut number. You can use Speed Dial feature to place a call by pressing a reduced number of keys.

Add a Speed Dial Number

1. Go to PBX > Call Features > Speed Dial, click Add.

2. On the configuration page, configure the Speed Dial.

   • Name: define a name for the speed dial

   • Number: The phone number that you want to call.

   • Speed Dial Code: Speed dialing number.

3. Click Save and Apply.

Speed Dial Example

Assume that you have an outbound route set and you will dial speed number 22 to reach an external number 15011122333 through the route.

1. check the speed dial prefix in the PBX > Settings > Functions Code, it’s *0 as default.

2. Set the Speed Dial as below:

3. Dial *022 on your phone to call the number 15011122333. *0 is the default feature code for speed dial.
