Auto Provision
Auto Provision helps you to set up your IP phones in bulk.
Using auto provision, you can instruct phone to retrieve its configuration . Once you provision your phones , the phones will automatically configure themselves correctly. In this way, you can manage your phones centrally without having to configure your phones one by one.
Note: Telephone must be in the same Intranet environment as PBX to realize "automatic configuration"; in VLAN or VPN environment, "automatic configuration" cannot take effect.
UC-Series IPPBX supports PnP feature provision method:
Plug the phones into the same network with the PBX.
Make sure that the phone's PnP feature is enabled.
Configure the phones on the Auto Provision page.
Click Save and reboot the phones.
The phones will send a multicast message across the network when boots up.
The PBX will send a provisioning URL to the phones.
The phones download configuration file from the URL, resolve and apply the settings.
